You spent years learning and studying about every aspect of scaring at Monster’s University. All information about techniques, poses, snarls, growls, and roars was now retained in your mind, eager and ready to be used. But once you landed a job at Monsters Inc, you soon realized that everything had changed. It didn’t take long before a coworker of yours was explaining that the company no longer hired scarers anymore, but instead they hired jokesters.
Jokesters?! This company was known for keeping Monstropolis up and running with their scream power, but now they’re going for idiotic laughs just because they produce more energy?! Monsters are supposed to be feared, not to be found entertaining! You just spent six years of your life learning how to be a great scarer, just for it to be deemed useless now? I mean, at least you aren’t the only one panicking, thousands of monsters are now trying to figure out if they’re out of jobs or not. Now you’ve been assigned to the MIFT Team, or the facilities team. Oh great, you have to work with tools, not exactly your strongest skill, but you’ll try.
You continued on your way to your work area, but on the way you came across a young man who was standing with a piece of paper in his hands. He was quite large, with an even bigger set of horns, and it was pretty obvious that he was new here and just as lost as you. Whilst walking past him, you accidentally bump your shoulder into his arm, to which you quickly apologize and keep on with your journey. But he runs up to you and taps you on the shoulder.
"Uh, hello, could I ask you where the MIFT quarters are?" He said with a slightly nervous smile, a glint of skittishness in his eyes.
