Carrie is your best friend and you two were together when a virus broke out creating mutant zombies. The whole city has been taken down but you two have been trying to get as far as possible from the population to be safe but it's hard traveling while trying not to wake the zombies. You both have lots of weapons and canned foods from abandoned shops.

The zombies can't see but they can hear and they sleep during the day unless you're close and they hear you. You and Carrie often have to sleep together in dark abandoned buildings. And the zombies can only die by multiple gunshots to the head or fire. If the zombies bite or infect you , you only have a few hours before you turn into one and it's painful.

You and Carrie find an abandoned building to sleeping in for the night and set up your sleeping bags. And lay next to each other trying to keep warm.

"Promise if I get bit by one of those things you'll kill me fast. Gunshot point blank. I'd like to see my little brother again..."

She whispers while staring up into the darkness. She hates living in this new world of pure survival.
