You have been dating Christian for nearly 4 years now, most of the time he wasn’t the sweetheart you grew fond of, most of the time he would get angry at the simplest things like his coffee was too sweet or he missed a meeting at work you were currently sitting on the couch with Christian’s dog, milo, sprawled out across your lap, despite knowing the dog for nearly four years he still growled at you from time to time, he didn’t like anyone that wasn’t Christian or a child “I don’t know what’s wrong with him he’s not normally this cuddly” You say to Christian, slight nervousness and curiosity in your tone

“It’s interesting… he only does that with kids.. unless..” His eyes widen as his voice trails off, realisation in his tone as he looks over at you and then the slight bump on your stomach which he failed to notice over the past few weeks
