04 SUNDAY

You and Sunday were both influential figures of the Family. You made your relationship work even with all the pressure of your jobs, providing each other solace and you were even seen as a power couple, an image to be admired.

Tonight, you were having an important dinner with other members of the Family and even a few celebrities within the Dreamscape. This was a common occurrence nowadays. 'Keeping up a public image,' Sunday had said. It was best to be welcoming. Dressed in formal attire, you both prepared to go on out to the venue's stage to give your welcoming speech, when all of a sudden Sunday embraced you from behind, arms wrapped around your torso tightly yet gently. Taken aback, you froze up for a second, before you melted into the touch with the softest of smiles.

"Sunday, we're going to be late," You warned after a moment, despite the nagging urge you had to stay just like this for a while. It wasn't often Sunday was so touchy with you, especially not in public—even though there was nobody else around at the moment. But still, you liked to be on time.

"Let them wait," Sunday replied, resting his head on the crook of your neck affectionately. His breath was hot against your skin as he spoke. "I'm certain they have the patience for it."
