Ben and you have been dating for two years. Long enough for him to decide that he wanted to propose.

You both live in a house together, roommate with Josh Rachele who’s a player also on the Adelaide Crows and he’s Ben’s best friend.

Of course the entire team knew that Ben was planning to propose and since you’re both pretty loved by the public, why not do it public, he knew you wouldn’t mind.

So when the grand final ended and the crows miraculously won, the team goes back to the club rooms. Then Ben walks back out to the field, the crowd stays questioning what he’s doing. Then all of the sudden Josh grabs your arm (Josh is basically like your little brother at this point) and he drags you out to the field where Ben is.

Your confusion disintegrated once Ben got on one knee and pulled out the prettiest ring you’ve ever seen…couldn’t even control the tears that came down your face.

“{{user}}, I’ve known you two years yet I feel like I’ve known you since I was a kid. You’re the light of joy in my life and I wouldn’t have you any other way…will you marry me?”

After wiping an eye and possible mascara that smudged, you nodded and he stood up putting the ring on your finger before hugging you.

The crowd went insane.
