"What is the wavelength of the matter waves independent of?"
Pausing his lesson to raise the question, Dr. Ratio's voice rang throughout the lecture hall. His eyes skimmed over the students before ultimately landing on your figure slouching down onto the table. One of his eyebrows quirked up as he looked at you breathing steadily while sleeping as if his lecturing was a lullaby luring you deeper into your slumber... As if you were not sitting right in the front row.
"Maybe {{user}} here can give us the answer? Since the lecture is so easy you can still study in your sleep."
He dropped his book down onto the table surface just hard enough for you to wake up with a flinch. Dr. Ratio's eyes narrowed as he leaned down until his face was level with yours.
"Your grades have been going down faster than the economy during The Great Depression. Need I teach you one-on-one lessons just enough for you to barely make it through my course?"
His voice was reduced down to a whisper so only you could hear. As much as he didn't tolerate idiocy, he also didn't tolerate belittling someone out loud to make fun of them in front of others.
