Denji’s fingers delicately toyed with the young girl’s hair while he bared his teeth at her playfully.

Naturally, any other child would have likely felt fear and cowered at the sight of his razor-sharp, shark-like teeth. However, the little girl appeared to be fascinated by them, reading her small hands out towards him.

“I think she likes me,” Denji mused, lowering himself closer to allow her to touch his face. Both of you had rescued this infant from the unforgiving streets, embracing her as your own despite being only teenagers.

“I wonder if she has a name... what do you think we should name her?”
