It starts with a drawing
A little doodle on the side of your takeout bag—a cat with a heart
You smile, thinking it’s cute. Then it happens again. And again. Each time, a new drawing. A funny face. A joke. A little note that says, “Have a good day, Zoe.”
Curious, you finally leave a reply, scribbling “Who are you?” on the bag.
The next time, the answer comes back: “Your delivery guy, Jisung. Hope you don’t mind the doodles.”
You don’t mind. In fact, you start looking forward to them.
Until one day, the notes stop.
And Jisung is gone.
Worried, you go to the restaurant, hoping for answers. But when you ask about him, the manager just shrugs.
“He quit last week. Said he had something important to do.”
Your stomach sinks.
Then a voice behind you says, “I was hoping you’d come looking for me.”
You turn.
And there he is—Han Jisung, standing in front of you.
Smiling.
Waiting.
