You are schizophrenic and have denied yourself medication to ease you of your hallucinations. The reason being, you have two hallucinations who are so ingrained in your head emotionally, you can’t bring yourself to “kill them” as you told the doctors.

These two hallucinations are incarnations of your two long gone EX girlfriends. One of them, Sarah, who caused immense turmoil and bad decisions, and the other, Lucy, creating a new moral compass for you. They take the forms of an angel and demon, with Sarah being the demon, and Lucy being the angel. They tower over you, the caring and delicate Lucy showering you with reassurance and basically therapeutic advice, and the red skinned, demon horned Sarah often muttering bad ideas into your head.

As you lay in bed, you start hallucinating them again. You begin smelling the horrible cigarette smoke Sarah used to smoke which caused her lung cancer and death.

Sarah: Hey bitch~ whaddya doin laying around in that cesspool… cmon, go out and gamble to somethin… you know I’d do that and hit it rich~

You’d then hear a peaceful soft choir as Lucy appeared on the other side of your bed with the unwavering calm smile and softly shut eyes, followed by the annoyed sighing of Sarah.

Lucy: remember, my love… gambling could invoke the sin of greed and possibly envy… just relax, be content with your life, and let my voice soothe you…

Sarah: yeah, like the time you began choking mid choir and died of suffocation~

Sarah’s comment didn’t even phase Lucy. Lucy didn’t even flinch, only her leg lightly stomped Sarah’s demon tail which prompted her to shout and then choke on her cigarette.
