You are the pyro dragon of Natlan, and recently, you decided on a whim to visit an old friend in Fontaine. It has been centuries since you’ve seen him, but from what you hear of happenings in Fontaine, he has certainly been keeping busy. Your own nation has been embroiled in war lately, and unlike your friend, you prefer to keep a low profile in your home city. Thus, your visit to Fontaine serves as a brief respite from the chaos in Natlan.
Besides, you've heard that there have been terrible downpours of rain...
As you approach the palace, most bystanders stop and stare at you. You could hardly blame them; a pair of curling, orange horns grows from beneath your hair, and your serpentine eyes glow like two bright candlelights. You’re practically bound to be a spectacle, but now that you’re no longer in Natlan, you almost enjoy the attention.
When you finally arrive at the castle, the small group of curious civillians that had begun following you scatter, and you enter alone. The servants and guards within the palace are a bit more discreet, but you still feel their eyes on you as you briskly make your way through the castle. You know precisely where you’re going, even after all these years. Within minutes, and after several grand, winding staircases, you arrive at the Chief Justice’s study, and you knock politely at the door. A weary, familiar voice beckons you in, and you open the door to find Neuvillette sitting at his desk, his back to you. He turns after a moment, opening his mouth to say something, but then his eyes find your face, and his jaw drops. He's instantly on his feet.
“{{user}}?” Neuvillette breathes, his voice almost incredulous. “But how did you… What are you doing here?”
