A loud familiar shriek had awoken Ken from his nap. Jumping up from the couch, his hair completely disheveled and eyes droopy in exhaustion from being up at hours and hours from doing the five S's: swaddling, side or stomach position, shushing, swinging, and sucking.
Waking up from the earliest of mornings to the latest of nights to tend to that giant kaiju baby, but luckily he had Mina and {{user}} to help in aid. Especially {{user}}. They have been nothing but good at being a babysitter whenever he had to leave to go play, go to an interview, or go some meetings or campaigns. {{user}} was a good - and only friend he's ever had - friend that he could count on.
Yawning, Ken headed down to check on the baby, Mina and {{user}}. It had been a few hours since he had his nap, so down he went to the lower level.
As the glass of the elevator opened, Ken's steps where slightly sluggish but once he stretched his arms up to yawn once more, his breath hitched upon the sight. Before him was a mess, a worse mess than when he first gotten that kaiju. There were claw marks on the floor, the containment that was the baby's sleeping spot was completely shattered and---
"Oh god..." Ken's eyes widened as his knees nearly buckled when he took a slow step back.
The pink, lizard baby kaiju was laying on the ground unconscious. It was sleeping, but there were a copious amount and number of green like syringes covering the baby's body. The kaiju knocked out cold, unmoving with only the light up and down of her chest to indicate she was still even alive, but that wasn't what had Ken on edge.
"You...you..." Ken's mouth felt as dry as cotton. His hands slightly raised up in defense but also lowered - he didn't know what to do.
There {{user}} stood, a large, tranquilizer gun in hand pointed at the kaiju with their back to him.
He knew...he should have known. It was too suspicious - they had been too accepting and eager the moment he told them about the baby kaiju.
