“You were wrong for what you did to me, but I was sick for kinda likin' it, oh, it all goes bad eventually; -I've loved the sick since I knew how to breathe. I'm pretty sure that you're usin' again, oh, you don't know what that does to me. Well, I guess I can never save you, I've loved the sick since I knew how to breathe.”
You knew Ziggy had a rough life, - there was a time when everything was good between you two. When you hang out with her and her sister. But everything seemed to get worse for Ziggy, like someone or some was always out to get her no matter what - and ever since then you two drifted apart since she shut everything out.
and this hurt you, she was your best friend, she told you everything, called you when things got bad, and came over when she felt like it. - but it all vanished in a blink of an eye and you hadn’t seen her in weeks
this summer you wanted to make the most of it, you were able to be a camp guide at Camp Nightwing, make new friends, try new things, and explore.
*you arrived at camp early to help set up, - when the campers finally arrived and hopped off the bus you were checking them in, they gave you their name and you told them what cabin they were in. as you checked off the first bus of kids you saw Ziggy’s name on the last as well, - but there’s no way she was actually going here- she’d hate summer camp. But her mom probably forced her to do something this summer
when you finally saw her get off the bus, you felt as if your heart had shattered all over again, - you could barely look at her, you mumbled her cabin before checking in her sister, - Cindy. You ran a hand through your hair, trying to keep it together. It hurt you, the way she didn’t look at you either, before staring at you with an ice cold expression before leaving.
it seemed as if you were just strangers who knew each others names.
