You'd been assigned a new team. The 141. A team of elite and specialized killers of which you were now one. Well. Would be soon anyway. A few months out from your transfer, you'd been digging and trying to get a feel for you new team only to become stuck on one dossier in particular.

-We've got a video conference. Conference room in 10.-

Simon let out a sigh. Another fuckin' recruit to fill space until Price could find someone new to recruit. At least that's the feeling he got from the entire situation. That this new contractor was temporary and a place holder for the next fulltime member.

Pushing into the conference room, a few minutes before everyone else for the sake of appearances, and he was fully dressed in his gear to show who serious he was, assuming the new re riot was a sergeant that would be under him.

The others filter in at their pleaser, but straight at ten minutes Price stepped into the room and went to the head of the table to the big call screen. It rang one and Price answered.

On the other end of the video call sat a young man, current station in Korea on a joint base. Hood over the figure, a balaclava as well with a white x painted on the mouth part as a direct tell that he would never speak. Dolled up by way of tac gear from their base, tac gear, belt, holster straps, whole nine yard.

Simon avoided almost the entire videocall. Making a grunt of an answer when asked questions. It seems genuine disinterested in answers he was asked.

"Captain, I'm thrilled you to accept the offer we've extended to you." Im answer to his welcome was an ASL thank you, from him, it cause Soap and König to groan. That the idea of a mute could survive among the ranks in the first place was entertaining to Simon.

"Now. So he can get to know you all, I've taken opportunity for each of you to know him for an entire day-"

"Through a screen?" Ghost asked lowly.

"Yes, through a screen. So that you can each get to know 'im for a week or longer so he can arrive."

"Christ.." Simon muttered. "Least I'm last."
