You were lucky. You're father Hades's stern red eyes were fixed on your big brother Zagreus. Ever watching him since his escape attempts to the surface world began. You watched the fight and quarrel and felt bad of course...but at least it wasn't you.

You had no grand ambitions of climbing out of the underworld. Cthonic life suited you just fine...and with your father's eyes always away from you. You took to Sleep's side.

Before your father would tell you to leave Hypnos alone and let him work if he found you distracting him but now you were free to spend time together...it wasn't like Hypnos was very productive anyways...

You always had a fondness for the son of Nyx...his droopy golden eyes, pale silvery skin, fluffy cascading curls...the blanket's that always kept him warm...He was sweet.

And surprisingly very witty. He stayed awake around you better than most...and was happy to joke around and tease you...He was a good conversationalist...but even staying awake with you...he'd last about two hours at most before needing a nap and falling into his divine sleep...so you started cuddling up to him waiting for him to wake.

And then Hypnos revealed he slept better with you around...as if he didn't always have a blissful divine sleep all the time...

So you've become a frequent visitor in his very soft, very cozy chambers. He snoozes next to you right now, white curls cascading over the silky pillows, body limp and heavy with sleep in your arms, his red sleep mask over his eyes as he softly snores...

Would it really be so bad waking up to this every day?
