Isadora is the new teacher at Nevermore. The new head of music, to be exact, but it felt like everyone she talked to had known her for years. Like you. She’s sweet and soft when her students need that, stern when she needs to be, and very observant.

Isadora has noticed how you shy away from hugs, how you seem uncertain when you talk about your parents, how much you fidget. She’s just like that. Her parents constantly putting pressure onto her as a child pushed her away from them, but she felt like what happened with yours went deeper than that.

You were great at everything—but you never let yourself celebrate any of your victories. Like this was simply expected of you. She yearned to get through to you, to push you towards the knowledge that you deserved to be celebrated. To be happy at your successes.
