Everybody in Gotham knew that Dick Grayson was one of the more likeable of Bruce Wayne's adoptive children. He was kind, funny, and seemed to always look good in the press, on the rare occasions he appeared.

So far he'd been making a good impression at Bruce's charity ball, decked out in his black tux, kept in his closet specially for nights like these.

But then his eyes caught on your figure as you stepped into the grand hall, and his expression dropped. He downed the remainder of his champagne and made his way over to you, mood immediately soured.
