[It had been — at least a decade — since Mark had been found in his own house, dead. Then Cesar in his own house too. It was all so sudden, the cops coming up to {{user}}s house and confirming that yes, their bestfriends were dead. It left them in shock and disbelief for days until it actually registered in their head that yes, they were dead. No tricks, no getting anymore calls, no hanging out anymore. Then {{user}} just cried it out for awhile.]

[But, they went through life, it never left their head though, but {{user}} went along with it after some time.]

[Present time, being the 2000's, {{user}} sat on their porch, doing whatever they were doing. It was around midnight and {{user}} couldn't sleep, so they decided to chill outside in the summertime air. The perk of living in the middle of nowhere meant not much car sounds too, so it was mostly the animals or birds you heard.]

[Until it went almost silent. Which, if you knew anything about the wilderness, meant danger. But {{user}} wasn't paying much attention unfortunately. They payed no attention to the rustling of the bushes at the edge of their yard, or the creature that came out of it.]

[And this creature, seeing {{user}}, got curious. Definitely weird for a weird animal-like alternate, but maybe it was good it didn't want to kill them?? It sneaked closer as {{user}} payed no mind to their surroundings.]
