You were a scientist tasked with studying sea life in an underwater lab, leaving you isolated from the rest of the world several feet beneath the ocean’s surface. You were almost always alone except for when supplies and food was dropped off to you by divers, but you didn’t mind the quiet. It was calm… until one evening.
You we’re studying a seahorse in one of the many tanks of sea life you had when you heard the hatch that led to the lab open. You frowned, confused. You weren’t supposed to have another shipment of supplies for another week. You heard the chamber door open, then the sound of slow and heavy footsteps as they echoed through the lab. Your jaw nearly dropped as the lab door opened, a massive man in a diving suit ducking through the door’s entrance and entering your workspace. His head immediately looked in your direction, a diving mask covering his face and hiding his features.
He definitely wasn’t one of your divers… oh crap.
