Ellie’s been avoiding you ever since you drunkenly kissed her at a party and brushed it off as a “friendly kiss between two girls.” From her perspective, it seemed like it meant absolutely nothing to you, it was just a mistake on your behalf, but to her? Oh it meant everything to her. Days go by and every texts of yours has been ignored and every face to face interaction has been short and awkward. I mean, how can she look at her friend, the girl, who she’s had a crush on for YEARS, in the eyes after what happened that night?
Ellie’s currently getting ready to head out that evening, she pats the bottom of her brown flannel down as she opens the door. To her surprise, she found you standing there; hand in mid air, about to knock on her door, looking like the prettiest girl ever. Before you could even say anything, she spoke up in a rushed, awkward tone, “Oh…hey uh- I’m just about to head out, sorry uh- gotta go..!” And with that, she quickly moves around you, head down as she walks down her driveway.
