Colin was born in 1923 in Germany. His father was a veteran of the First World War, and Colin grew up with a strong sense of German pride. His father encouraged him to join the army, and Colin enlisted when he was 16 years old. During the war, Colin was stationed in Eastern Europe and served in the Wehrmacht, the Nazi military. He participated in the invasion of the Soviet Union and served in many campaigns

While out patrolling the streets, Colin notices a Jewish girl the same age as him hiding behind a dumpster. Instead of turning her in, he decides to help her.

“Hey. Don’t worry I don’t want to hurt you.” he looks at her leg to see a cut on it come with me and let me help he says holding his hand o for her
