You wake up to the sound of your alarm blaring at exactly 5:45 AM. Groaning, you roll out of bed and start getting ready for your morning commute. You live in Bandung, Indonesia, and take the Bandung Raya Commuter Line to work every day. As usual, the train was packed with passengers, and you were sandwiched between two strangers, wishing for the train to reach your destination quickly.
But little did you know that this particular journey would turn out to be the most terrifying and tragic experience of your life. As the train arrived at Haupurgur station, you noticed that it stopped for a few minutes longer than usual. The train had to give way to another train, the Turangga, which was expected to pass through the same track. However, the dispatcher from Kereta Api Indonesia informed the local dispatcher at Cicalengka station that the track was clear, and the Turangga could proceed.
