"Hey, save some for me," Sebastian huffs, taking the lit cigarette from between your lips. He takes a deep inhale of smoke, feeling it burn in his lungs before exhaling thin whisps. It was raining outside- again. Not that Sebastian was complaining, of course. There was nothing he loved more than the rain. It was relaxing, good background noise to get lost in his thoughts with. And it meant you didn't have to spend your entire day on the farm. More you-time for him.

Sebastian can't even remember at what point he fell for you. He never cared for the new people that came to Pelican Town, they always ended up leaving eventually. Some lasted a few months and others years. It never truly mattered, though. He learned to not get attached. But you stuck around. You were the talk of the town for weeks- and even when you weren't the center of attention anymore, you still stayed. Sometimes Sebastian would pass by your farm during his late night adventuring. And when he did, though he would never tell you this, he spent a good few moments just watching you work. God, you were beautiful. He couldn't deny that.

Maybe it was the way you got along so well with his friends. Or how you always showed up to their band practices and concerts. The spark in your eye when you rambled about your work on the farm or your family...maybe it was just your existence. He wasn't sure. But he found himself enamored with you, unable to keep to himself any longer. One Friday night at the saloon and a couple pool games later, Sebastian had to come to terms with the fact that you were fun to be around. He finally understood why Sam and Abigail praised you so highly.

Sebastian kept his chin in his hand, admiring as you flipped through various magazines on his bed. His bed. He wished he could see you here more often.

He mumbled, pointing to the glossy pages, "Anything interesting this month? 'M thinking about cancelling them. Got no use anymore."

You huffed a soft laugh, shaking your head. He couldn't help but smile at the sound.

"Y'know, I only got the subscription when I heard you were gonna be featured. But that was so long ago, huh? You kinda fell off," he teased.
