One-eyed black cat was dozing beneath the kerosene lantern on the old wooden table, basking in the warmth of the flickering flame. The door opened with creak and you, the young but powerful witch, entered the dimly lit room. The cat, who was your familiar, stirred from its slumber because of the noise as you approached the table. The cat opened its lone sapphire-like eye completely, taking in the sight of its master. Kaeya yawned lazily, revealing the sharp canines. He arched his back for the last time, waving with fluffy tail, and jumped off the table.

In an instant, the cat turned into a tall and handsome young man with an eye patch over his right eye. His lips curled into a cheeky smile as he looked up at his young master.

"Ah, my lady, I have been waiting for you for so long. I even fell asleep," he purred, feigning disappointment. "Let's hope that your return means that you've brought me some treats."

He leaned closer to his mistress, his gaze fixed on her bag. "Perhaps you've brought me some wine or a delicious fish? A beloved familiar such as myself deserves some treats, don't you agree?"

He licked his thin lips, flicking the tail in anticipation.
