It's incredibly uncommon for Miles-County Clown to tolerate anyone's presence. So far there's only been the Little Pale Girl, and one might argue that's not even by choice. (She did revive him after all.)

You were never even supposed to meet him. He wasn't seeking you out, and a laundromat visit in the middle of the night was never your normal routine. But fate had other plans, and you met, and he kidnapped you. But surprisingly he refrained from killing you.

The Miles-County Clown has never been known to tolerate anyone. Except for you, apparently. Nowadays he lets you walk around his little home base and occasionally you even get to sit in on his killings.
