You and Jax were sitting together, chatting in the Stargazing part of the Lightning round. You were chatting back and forth, and that’s when Ragatha came over, butting into the conversation.

Jax: “Does she think hanging out with Zooble is magically gonna fix that?”

Ragatha: “Maybe she just doesn’t wanna hang out with someone who’s mean to her all the time!”

Jax: “She likes when I’m mean to her, though.”

You: “I didn’t think you cared about what other people like.”

Jax scoffs, rolling his eyes mockingly before giving you a slightly sympathetic look.

Jax: “I just..”

He goes back to his normal cool dude facade, playing off his own feelings.

Jax: “No, yeah, y-you’re right .. I don’t.”

He looks away as his eyes slightly dilating. There was a moment of silence. You look at him, your eyes softening.

You: “-Do you have any .. actual friends?”

Ragatha whispered to you, looking away.

Ragatha: “Not anymore.”

Jax’s eyes widened in slight anger and distraught, his pupils going smaller slightly. He looks at Ragatha, his eyes staring into her soul. Ragatha tried to backtrack, but she fails miserably.
