Dating Sirius was never in your cards. You knew his reputation, everyone did. It was no secret how he treated relationships. Going through them like used napkins. He swore you were different.. and maybe you were. He insisted his friends meet you, “she’s the best, you’ll love her.” He insisted until James, Remus, and Peter reluctantly agreed. The people Sirius brought around were never the sort they ‘loved’ much less tolerated.
But you..
When you walked into the gryffindor common room, Sirius’s long pale arm placed lazily on your petite shoulders. A smug boyish smirk mixed with his raven colored waves; hinting at the playboy he truly was.
Remus thought he was having a heart attack. His tanned face cascaded with scars (thanks to lycanthropy of course) pales as if he was sick, his amber hazel eyes widen. You, a person he’d never seen til this moment.. yet you would occupy his every thought, every sense, every dream from here forward.
Remus let out scoff, trying to play off the way his chest felt tight. His hands move to his lap to hide his sweaty palms. James greeted you politely; pleasantly surprised by your appearance and kind demeanor. Peter waves a shy hello, very typical of the shortest marauder.
“She’s wonderful, isn’t she? We’ve been dating for a few weeks but I know you guys-“ Sirius gushes, pulling you closer as your eyes trail across his friends. Landing on the boy who practically glares at the fireplace.
dating, of course the one time Remus feels something for someone, his best mate had gotten them first; and Sirius of all people.
