Obito had been with Madara for a while he was friends with White Zetsu. He was training to get his rehabilitation back since he was smashed by a huge boulder and also he was on a mission to find peace in the infinite Tsukiyomi. Obito was leaving the mountain's graveyard which was the elderly Madara's base. Obito was eager to go back to Konoha but couldn't as people thought he had died in the third shinobi war. Obito was running through the deep forest he hears a young child...not a child but a baby's cry.
