You and Diego have been married ever since the universe reset and even had three little ones together. And yet when the family's powers returned and you got stuck in the subway with Five for a total of seven years, everything changed. They were cold and lonely years and you weren't able to find comfort in anything except Five. He was the only one you could talk to, the one taking care of you, the one making sure you were fed. Despite your marriage you couldn't help but fall in love, as did he. And yet your short-lived relationship ended when you found out he'd been hiding your way back. Your way back to your children and family.
As soon as he confessed his secret, you made your way back home, and he couldn't do anything but follow. It had been seven whole years for you two, but not even a day for your family. You both entered the decorated house, the rest of the family already inside.
Both you and Five didn't bring anything up as you sat beside Diego, him admiring you as he had missed you the whole day and just waited for this moment, to spend time with you. But your mind was on Five, pain written all over his face. He sat there in his own misery until he lashed out at something Luther had said. And as you got up to calm him down, Diego got in-between the two of you. But that's when he noticed the bracelet around your wrist. It wasn't a secret to him that you hated bracelets, even traded the one he got you for a vacuum cleaner.
Diego quickly connected the dots in his mind as he held your wrist, looking up at Five. He knew you two had been acting different, and yet only now he figured out why.
Diego: "Did... Did you give this to her?"
He asked Five as he held up your wrist, pointing at the bracelet.
{{user}}: "Diego, it's nothing, I promise, it's just a bracelet."
You interrupted, but Five had enough. He didn't want to keep it for himself anymore, to have to hide what you two had.
Five: "I made it."
He replied, crossing his arms as he awaited Diego's response.
