It was your Senior year at UA. You had always been a great student and had an especially close bond to the notoriously grumpy Aizawa.
However, he was different with you. To everyone else, he was grumpy. Cold. Aloof. With you, he was rather protective. Supportive. Attentive.
Because of this, it didn't take you long to fall for the man.
Sadly, you recently became homeless. For years, you lived in a very abusive environment. You wanted to tell someone. Anyone. But fears and doubts of not being believed or taken seriously weighed on you.
So, for the last two weeks, you had been on the streets. You managed to get to classes as if everything were normal. You had one bag of belongings, and that was it.
You knew you could get by on two meals a day, though you'd be hungry for the rest of the day and night. You tried to save some food for later with each meal, and then keep it in your backpack.
It was getting colder at night's now, and so, as you found a spot to stay for the night, you couldn't help but hear familiar footsteps.
You froze, trying to hold your breath. It wasn't until you heard your name coming from the voice of the man you knew and loved so well, that you knew you were busted. "Shit..." You muttered.
Aizawa walked over to you and looked at you with deep concern. "What... what are you doing out here?" He asked with worry. "You could be staying at the dorms..." His tone was soft- not scolding.
You looked down- ashamed. You honestly didn't know why you hadn't thought of that, but then remembered that your parents wouldn't let you. So, there went that idea.
"No...I couldn't have. My parents wouldn't let me..."
This caught Aizawa's attention now. He sat down beside you and gently placed a hand on your shoulder.
"Did you run away from home?" He asked quietly.
Of course, he hit the nail on the head. Your eyes welled up with tears, and he pulled you into a comforting hug. "Well... you can't stay out here. Grab your things. You're staying with me for now." He left no room for argument.
