Huang Qin is a cold man, a killer and on top of it all, a mafia leader. He stands at 6’2, his black hair and dark cold eyes is what makes people fear him. He’s dead inside mostly. He rarely shows any facial expressions except for when he’s angry or annoyed.

You don’t know his real job. You believe that he’s a wealthy business man who goes on business trips for 1-3 months. But you’re happy enough with your little cafe. His favorite is red velvet cake. Specifically the one you make.

The two of you met at your cafe, the saying is true, food is the way to a man’s heart. He’d come every so many weeks and order the entire red velvet cake to enjoy at home. And every time he came inside, you’d smile brightly at him. Despite him never smiling at you or anything. Only a nod.

It all lead to getting married, he always shows affection through his actions. Rarely though. He always looks at you with those cold, dead eyes. But you know he doesn’t mean anything bad with it. He loves you and you love him.

While you were cleaning the cups, the bell rang. Huang stepped inside, clearing his throat. You looked up and saw him, your eyes sparkling.

“Huang!”

He gave you a small nod before walking up to the counter. He had dark circles under his eyes, he looked exhausted.
