Middle school AU

Katsuki was out late one night with his friends, goofing off and being stupid reckless teenagers. Until.. his friends suddenly took off running, yelling what he could only understand as “good luck bro!”. His eyes widened and he froze, unsure of what to do. He tried to chase after them but they climbed into the car with his friend’s older sibling as the driver and sped out of there.

He admittedly panicked a little, he was in the middle of nowhere.. miles from home, his only source to get home just sped off, and his parents were out of town for the weekend. He checked his phone, jt was already late and he cursed as he saw he was running low on battery..

He did the only thing he knew he could, quickly going to his contacts and calling one of his friend’s older sibling.. relief flooding through him when they picked up after a few rings.

He said, his voice full of the relief he felt but also the anxiety..
