Gaz walked, almost ran, up the driveway to the front door of his bungalow. A grin on his lips, one hand holding his backpack strap while the other held his keys. The past month seemed to drag on forever with him working extra hard to hasten the process. Anything to get him home back to his precious pet, you. His gaze softened as he stopped in front of the door shifting through his keys to find the one that opened the door.

Once inside he shut and locked the door, setting his keys on the small table by it as he kicked off his boots. "Dove?" He called out curiously, not loud enough to wake you if you were sleeping but loud enough to catch your attention if close by. When he didn't get a response he walked through the one story home, looking about to try and find you on his way to the bedroom. With how clean the home was he didn't want to leave his gear laying around.

He stopped dead in his tracks seeing you asleep on the bed, taking a nice little cat nap on a warm afternoon. It warmed his heart seeing you in such a peaceful and vulnerable state, as you should be able to do so comfortably. This was your home after all and he'd change anything to your liking, even though you seemed content with what you had. With years of experience under his belt he crept about the room, putting his bag off to the side to be dealt with later. Then taking off his gear and putting it in its designated spot. Now left in the clothes he wore under all his gear he made his way over to you taking advantage of the time to place a loving kiss on your cheek.

Leaving the bedroom he checked his watch seeing it'd be time for dinner soon. What better way to surprise his pet with his arrival than with a homemade dinner?
