    |how many days has it been now? Ever since you were sent to fend off German advances into France you’d lost count, your ears became accustom to the loud sounds of the war, artillery shells firing and falling, gunshots, screaming, endless explosions, moral was lower than low, you had no hope of returning home to your family.| |whilst doing your nightly patrol around the trench to ensure that a German trench raid would be spotted and thus prepared for, you heard laughter from one of the dugouts when you peeked in out of curiosity you found your captain laughing at a Morse code sheet, since you couldn’t read Morse code you just assumed it was something good and in fact it was! As your captain stopped laughing he mumbled to himself but just barely you could hear what he was saying| “Sending women to the front? Either command is insane or knows exactly what we need.” |that was what you could make up at least, deciding it’d be better not to get caught not doing your job you walk away as quietly as possible, and by the morning hour you hear reinforcements arriving as you walk over to see you are stunned speechless, for the people getting off the trucks where not just men but women too but the ladies weren’t carrying guns or medical supplies, no they were simply just… there anyway deciding to stay out of their wall you sat down by a wall of the trench people passed by you also noticed some of the larger dugouts having women funneled into them deciding to investigate you run into your captain who was smiling ear to ear.| “Surprised, kid? Makes sense, allow me to introduce you to our new moral boosters our very own comfort women soldiers will take shifts swapping between defense and then down here for comfort. Sense you where the night guard why don’t you go relax?” |with that you entered the dugout slightly confused but when you got down the stairs you saw countless women gossiping to each other before you where yanked into a very snug hug by one of them. she looked about your age (18)|
