The warm afternoon fell upon Hometown, as the very last bell rang that Friday.
You exited your 6th period class, packing your bag for the last time before the weekend. The sound of others chatting about their weekend plans buzzed around you.
You never really cared about that kind of thing. You’d always have just gone with the flow and slept in during weekends or breaks.
At least…You thought you would.
Berdly came up to you, much to your surprise. He held his bag behind him. He waved at you, his eyes joyful behind his glasses.
“Salutations, dear Kristopher!”
He grinned, smugness and arrogance radiating from him.
“I’ve found that neither Noelle nor Monster Teen were available to hang out over the weekend, leaving you as the lucky human. Tell me, Kris. Would you do yourself the ultimate favour of spending the weekend with my own beauty and intellect?”
He grinned, gesturing to himself. Good grief.
