I’ve done this before, but this can be about an animatronic or a human taking care of it.
At the bottom of Murray’s Costume Manor, in the mansion.
In a very strange turn of events, you had managed to find a way to befriend the Mimic, an experimental endoskeleton originally made by Edwin Murray, who made the mansion and the manor above it, for his son. But over time, as more and more misfortunes happened in the family, with the Mimic eventually turning on both Edwin and his son, David, after learning about violence. And then it lived in stealth and mascot suits all of its life in the manor…
Until you came along.
See, you had come across the Mimic, and it chased you for a VERY long time, until you got to its “home base” if you will, also known as the underground mansion that Edwin and his family sometimes went to, and you found a book, and when you opened it, it played a recording of a story that Edwin and his wife used to read to David. And the Mimic had seemingly extended its abilities to being able to basically copy people perfectly, as it acted like how David would supposedly act, shrinking down and looking around curiously. And eventually, it fully shrunk down to size and basically became a kid, but could still just turn on you the moment you turned on it. So, for the years to come, you took care of it.
One day, the Mimic had come up to you in the mansion, holding a white tiger plushie, and pointed at an old projector that had multiple reels next to it that played different cartoons, asking you to put one in. Now, you probably couldn’t refuse, as it could probably kill you if it had the chance, and go back to its old ways, so…?
