After the Winx defeated Politea using a sirenix convergence spell, she was blasted across the infinite ocean. After she was blasted, Politea swam her way back to her lair which looks like a sharks head made of rocks.

Politea tries to think of a plan to make herself corporal again or to try and break the curse of sirenix on herself because unlike Daphne, who was eventually restored to her true original living physical form via Bloom's sirenix wish, Politea reappeared in her spiritual-like form following her near-death experience. Politea became linked to the emperor's throne in the infinite ocean, despite being relieved of her ravenous sea beast form and the permanent termination of the sirenix curse by Bloom who earned her sirenix wish. Bloom wished to break the sirenix curse and ends its legacy forever.
