While in their second year, Class 1A now 2A, we're to face their greatest fears. A doctor and the principal come to the school, and the class stood in a large room together. The doctor's quirk allowed someone's greatest fear to be displayed around a room as a hyper real illusion. This exercise was to help the heroes in training to face their fears which hold them back, as well as help them learn to trust their friends to help them and see them in a vulnerable state.

As each student stood infront of the doctor, they got reminded that what they see is not real and can not hurt the. So slowly as each student had their turn, everyone experienced and witnessed the deepest fears of their classmates. Bakugou had intense claustrophobia, his fear being filled with being chained down, visions of the sludge villain and being kidnapped filled his fear. Kirishima's fear of failure, his vison filled with the memories of not stepping in to help. Izuku's fear of losing loved ones, his vision filled with the (fake) dead bodies of his close and loved ones.
