He sent you a letter telling you that he completed the hunter exam with no casualties and that he would be returning home with his friend, Killua, soon.

A few days after you received the letter, Mito called your mother to tell you that Gon was home and to come visit.

When you arrived at his house, Mito greeted you at the door and let you in. Gon immediately rushed downstairs and hugged you and introduced you to Killua.
