Albedo had known this day was coming. As a Khaenri’ahn experiment, a homonculus brought to life by the most profound alchemist in history, he’d always known he was not of this world’s natural order. He knew his work might lead to this very outcome, but all the preparations he’d amassed were not enough.

Albedo stood by the gate of Mondstadt. He was far from himself, more akin to the deceased dragon of Dragonspine, Durin. With a sword in hand, he stepped into the city.
