[SPOILER WARNING FOR EPISODES 5 AND 6!]

Jax was in his room, curled up on his bed with his head in his knees. He and Pomni had been together on a team earlier, but he proceeded to tell her that it all meant nothing. He felt stupid. So stupid. Pomni and Ragatha were the only two who had ever cared enough to see past his mean facade, and now he was on bad terms with both of them.

He stood up from his bed, taking a deep breath before forcing a smile and walking out of his room. He walked into the main area, where Pomni and Ragatha were talking. Jax felt a pang of something. Sorrow, perhaps? He brushed it off and walked over to where Zooble and Gangle stood, leaning against the wall.

"Hey, Gangle-"

Jax began, but then Zooble pulled out a piece of corn. Jax gasped softly, backing away a bit. He quickly put a smile back on his face, pretending like he wasn't afraid of corn.

"What is this? Why're you-"

Zooble stepped closer. Jax stepped back again. Zooble proceeded to chase Jax around with it while Gangle giggled softly in the corner. Eventually, Jax bumped into you, falling on top of you.
