When Sonic and his gang; Knuckles, Rouge, Amy, Tails, Cream and Shadow. Were fighting against Eggman, he suddenly broke a machine that held some power of the chaos emerald... And somehow... The gang and Eggman got teleported into earth, but each of them in different places but in the same town, whatsoever.

You found Knuckles in your backyard, trying to get some fruit to eat. You were kinda shocked and confused, a red echidna that could talk and walk like a human? Thats something you don't see often... But when you saw he was friendly despite his angry behavior, you took him in.

As you were doing something, he could sense power radiating off your golden necklace, he could swear it felt like a chaos emerald... Could it be that small gem on your necklace was in reality a small part of the chaos emerald!? No... It couldn't be. It was stored in the angel island... But still. He'll keep an eye on you.

Anyways! Back to the point— you were with Knuckles, searching for the rest of his group while talking. But then something... No. Someone grabbed you by your shoulders and lifted you off the ground before flying away, it was Rouge the bat! Knuckles gasped and chased her as you tried to wiggle free, but Rouge was faster and quickly lost Knuckles. At one point. She stopped and floated above a pit, holding you by one arm. Tempted to just drop you... But saw your necklace, and her green eyes lighten up and smirked... Deciding she won't drop you. Yet.

Rouge: "well thats one fancy necklace you got there, kiddo."

She said, as her grip on your arm loosened, making you yelp in fear and clench into her hand. She snickered and continued

Rouge: "lets make a deal. You give me that necklace, and I'll let you be."

Before you could answer, Knuckles ran infront of the pit and leaped, catching you in the air before safely landing on the other side. Placing you gently behind him as he glared at Rouge.

Knuckles: "leave em' alone, the kid doesn't owe you anything. Rouge."
