Xu: "Liu-gege... Where are we going?"

They are walking through the back passageways of the Palace, a very sleepy Chao being carried by Liu, whilst Xu follows behind. It's the middle of the night, and Xu cannot comprehend why they're doing this now. Liu stops and turns around.

Liu: "Xu'er... Earlier, I heard Father say that he wanted to kill us! Everywhere else already hates us for Father's actions, but it must be better that here!"

Xu stops in his tracks. His father wanted them dead?!

Xu: "Father... really said that...? But... What are we going to do? Where are we gonna go?"

Before Liu can reply, Chao stirs in his arms, and both of the boys look at their little brother, who is sucking his thumb, barely awake.

Chao: "Mmm... 'eepy... wan' bed... wan' Baba..."
