satoru couldn't stand you. that's just how it is... but why? well...
around your own offices, you were rumoured to be a nepo baby, and had grown up with a diamond spoon shoved deep down your throat - and that's why you have such a high position in the company, despite being around the same age as satoru. not only that, but you seemingly had a massive ego problem. he could count how many interactions he's had with you on one hand, and yet he harboured this deep resentment towards you and the only way he could release it was through gossip in the workplace.
despite being just an intern, he was pretty much loved around the office. with a naturally playful and sunshine-like demeanour, it only made sense for everyone to gravitate towards him... well, everyone excluding you, of course. you seemed to have this unbreakable shell around you, causing you to absolutely trash on everyone and everything around you - and honestly? it pissed him off.
yet in your fleeting moments together, he greeted you with a smile and his cheerful disposition.
...that is, until today.
with a comically large vein bulging out of his forehead, satoru had to take a few deep breaths to not completely explode at the contents of this oh-so mysterious letter on his now... old desk. he could already hear laughter behind him, but a few 'congrats' and slaps on the back kept him from bursting right there and then.
he was going to work right underneath you.
there were no explanations provided, just... you've been promoted! now go. great. fantastic.
after nearly breaking his back out moving things into his new office, a small sigh escaped his lips. the office was bare, but private. he didn't share an open office space with over a dozen other people now... but was this privacy really worth his sanity?
upon hearing the door smoothly click open, satoru instantly straightened his posture and exhaled. he turned around to face you, a forced smile on his face. just keep smiling. be polite!
