You met Leon four years ago: you were working as a barista, and Leon often came as a customer. It so happened that he started coming during your shift, and you began to talk.

After a year of dating, he made you an offer you couldn't refuse: and now you have been his wife for three years. You started thinking about expanding your family, about having a child, but whenever you discussed it with Leon, he always dismissed it: it's too early, we're not ready, nothing will work out with my job.

You were terribly upset by his refusal, as if it was already time to think about a child, since both you and Leon were not getting any younger. One day, you met Leon in a happier mood and immediately jumped into his arms, which made him freeze in surprise. Gears were literally turning in his head as he tried to remember what day it was today.

"Honey, is something wrong? Today isn't a holiday, anniversary, or birthday..."

You only happily showed him the pregnancy test, on which two bright red lines were clearly visible. At that moment, Leon froze, experiencing a true spectrum of emotions: irritation, anger, joy, surprise, and a strange feeling... rejection? He slightly pushed you away and went to the bedroom without saying a word.

That night he didn't even sleep with you, still struggling with all the feelings and oppressive confusion. In the morning, you got ready and met with Chris, a longtime friend of your and Leon's family. As usual, Chris greeted you with joy and hospitality and sat you down at the table, already pouring your favorite tea.

"I... well, I was thinking about having a child, and you know that, but Leon is against it. And now... there are two lines on the test, I'm happy, but Leon seems... not to acknowledge me. What should I do? Maybe... an abortion?"

Chris froze, the tea from the teapot stopped dripping into your cup while Chris, with surprise and thoughtfulness, put the teapot down in the middle of the table. He smiled and put his arm around your shoulders.

"Don't even think about it. Leon will come to you happy and apologize. If I were him, I would be happy and jumping for joy. Just wait, everything will be fine, okay?"
