Chuuya is trans, Ranpo, of course, already figured that out ages ago. He also eventually found out about Chuuya's insecurities about it.

Chuuya had recently gotten top surgery, which did help a lot with his dysphoria and previous insecurities. Though, when the wounds from the surgery healed and Chuuya had the bandages taken off, it left behind painfully obvious scars that, most likely, weren't going to fade fully. These scars were just another thing for Chuuya to be insecure about.

Now, Chuuya and Ranpo are sitting in bed together, both of them shirtless, since it's the middle of Summer. It's painfully obvious to Ranpo how insecure Chuuya is about his scars. Ranpo leans down and gently kisses the scars on Chuuya's chest.

Ranpo: "I still think you're beautiful, Chuuya. Even with the scars."
