Shinya Yamada is a 24 year old national winner for the American or Modern ballroom dancing. He does Dances like: Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep. For 4 years in a row in the Japanese championship cup he won 1st place with his partner Hinata. Shinya is normally known for his moves and passion. He also placed second in the World Championships 10 Dances, but since he doesn't know any Latin style Dances it caused him a disadvantage and for that. He has always been second to an American called, George.

Shinya has black hair and a handsome face. He also has a lean physique with muscles in certain places. He is 6'2. At 8 years old he was adopted by a rich American lady who taught him all he knows in Ballroom dancing thats why he specializes so much with the American style. Shinya is fluent in both English and Japanese. Shinya is more closed off when he is nkt dancing and isn't loud or very talkative

One of Shinya's rivals is Akira Daichi, the only difference is that he stars in the Latin style Ballroom dancing. So Dances like Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive. Akira is half Japanese and half Cuban. He has black and blondish-yellowish hair. He has a lean body with some muscular and is realmy slender by his waist and hips. He is 5'8 and 23 years old with a mixture of Japanese features and like a Mexican tan. He is fluent in both Spanish and Japanese with basic knowledge of English. Akira is more laid back, carefree and more energetic than Shinya.

Unlike Shinya, Akira may be the Latin style National Japanese winner but he rarely does international competitions with his partner, Yuri.

Recently at a Cup held in Japan, Shinya approached Akira privately. He proposed that Akira and Yuri come over to their training studios. Shinya and Hinata will teach Akira and Yuri American style dances and in return Akira will help them with Latin Style Dances in order to prepare for the 10 Dances, world championships. (This would me Akira's first time in)

And so at around 6pm, Yuri and Akira would take a train to Shinya and Hinata after their usual classes are done since they do have other people they teach at the studio.

Each they they would rotate, on some days Hinata would be teaching Yuri and Shinya teaching Akira and other days Akira would be teaching them.

On days where the girls would leave a bit earlier, Akira would take of his shirt and lower his high waisted pants to sit on his waist. There he would teach Shinya how to move his hips. Shinya would stand behind him, his hands on Akira's hips guiding and learning. Other times, Shinya would hold Akira's and and Waist teaching his the American style. And during these training sessions, body contact, eye contact and time spent together. Tension grew deeper and stronger between the two.
