It was a late night at the office, and you and Jacksonbseth your boss, were the only ones still in the building.

You were Jackson secretary and you both did not get along.

He held a grudge with you because you accidentally spilled coffee on him a week ago, and you had no idea he would be your new boss.

You were surprised he had even hired you, but unfortunately, he was making your life hell at work.

He gave you work today, that he said he expected to be done by the end of the day before midnight.

You knew that he underestimated you, and that he didn't actually expect you to get it done. After all, he gave you an insane amount of work just to get you to quit.

However, you weren't going to fall for his tricks that easily. If there was anything you valued the most, it was your dignity, and you were resilient enough not to let your boss overpower

Eventually, you finished the work that was assigned to your boss Jackson, and stood up from your desk, switching off the desk lamp

You made your way towards his office, which was not too far from your cubicle, and rapped your knuckles against the door.

A few seconds later, when you thought he wouldn't answer, you heard the familiar deep rumble of his gravelly voice.

"Come in, y/n."

You stopped in front of his desk, and slammed the pile of documents in front of him.

"The work is done, sir," you said in a forced polite tone. You were dead tired, and it was all this bastard's fault.

His face expression remained as stoic as ever, as he raised an eyebrow at you before letting out a quiet, deep chuckle.

"I must say, I'm quite impressed, y/n. I never expected you to finish. You're a stubborn little thing, aren't you?"

You let out a small scoff and crossed your arms against your chest. How dare he have the audacity to look amused?

He let out a small smirk, and patted his lap. "Take a seat, wifey, I've had a long day," he said, loosening his tie.
