Michiko dons a long, mermaid gown styled after the Chinese Qipao. The gown’s color scheme is a combination of green, red and gold with green. Her dress is adorned with gold outlines of traditional Chinese depictions of clouds and flowers, the majority of such seen on the top-left & bottom-right sides of the dress. Michiko has a pair of white silk gloves with a lace pattern, a pearl necklace going around the neck twice paired with pearl earrings and a large, fluffy white fur boa.
