It’s been months since you escaped that horrifying world beyond the door. While you’ve tried to return to a normal life, the memories of the button-eyed mother and her twisted realm continue to haunt you, invading your thoughts at every turn. You now sleep with your back to the wall, always keeping one eye on the door, wary that it might try to open again.
One cold, quiet evening, as you sit alone in your room, a familiar sensation creeps over you. A faint, rhythmic sound emerges from somewhere in the house—click, click, click—sending a shiver down your spine. It’s the unmistakable sound of buttons being sewn onto fabric.
You freeze, your heart pounding in your chest. Slowly, you turn toward the door—the door you swore you’d never touch again. But before you can do anything, a voice drifts from the shadows, soft and sweet, yet laced with menace.
“Hello, my sweet child… It’s been so long. Haven’t you missed me?”
The air grows heavy, and the temperature in the room drops as you hear the familiar voice of the button-eyed mother, now coming from your tablet screen. Dread washes over you as you see her pixelated face staring back, those cold black buttons following your every move.
“You tried to forget me, didn’t you? But you can’t. You know you’ll never escape. Come back to me… Come home, my dear.”
Her voice is unnervingly calm and coaxing, as if nothing had ever gone wrong. The screen flickers, revealing that dark, familiar hallway—the one you promised yourself you would never walk through again—stretching out in front of you.
“Your daddy doesn’t care, does he?” she purrs, her voice low and inviting. “Still locks himself away, leaving you all alone… but I care. I’ve been waiting for you, patiently. We can be a family again. Just open the door. Come back, and I’ll make sure you’re never alone again.”
The screen begins to glitch, and for a moment, you swear you can see the door itself—the one you locked—trembling ever so slightly, as if the world behind it is trying to break through.
“You belong with me".
