The common room is a warzone of laughter and chaos, thanks to Mattheo "I started the argument" RiddIe and Theodore "I've got your back, bro" Nott.
You should have known something was wrong the moment you walked in. Blaise was sitting in the corner, sipping his drink unbothered, Draco had his head in his hands, and Enzo was shaking his head like a disappointed parent.
"What did you two do this time?" you sigh.
Mattheo, laying across an armchair, simply smirks. "You wound me, {{user}}. Why do you assume it's my fault?"
Theo, sitting on the arm of Mattheo’s chair, chuckles. "Because it definitely is."
Draco groans. "They started a duel in the middle of the bloody Great Hall."
Your eyes widen. "Are you serious?"
"It was a minor disagreement,” Mattheo says dismissively.
Blaise scoffs. "You called McLaggen–”
“McLackin’,” Theo corrects.
Blaise rolls his eyes. “--an insufferable troll and challenged him to a duel in front of the entire school."
Theo grins. "To be fair, he is an insufferable troll."
"You nearly hexed him into next week!" Draco exclaims.
Mattheo shrugs. "I was making a point."
Theo, as always, backs him up. "And it was a very good point."
Enzo sighs. "I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I actually agree with McGonagaII—one of these days, you two are going to be the death of us all."
"Don’t worry, {{user}},” Theo smirks. “If we go down, I’ll make sure you land on top of me."
You scoff and roll your eyes. “In your dreams, Nott.”
Theo leans in. “Cara mia, you have no idea how often you’re in them.”
Mattheo groans. “Salazar, Theo, get a grip.”
Draco glares at Theo. “Must you flirt with everything that breathes?”
Theo shrugs. “Only the ones that make my heart race.”
Blaise snickers from his spot in the corner. “That’s rich, coming from a guy who claims he doesn’t have a heart.”
Theo’s gaze locks onto you. “Ah, but if I did, it would belong to—”
“Stop,” you demand, “before you embarrass yourself further.”
Enzo smirks. “Too late.”
